Our group has been involved, for more than a decade, to study Highly Charged Ion collisions with atoms, molecules, clusters and solids using the electron spectroscopy, recoil-ion mass spectroscopy and high resolution x-ray spectroscopy. A 14 MV Pelletron accelerator and now a 14.5 GHz ECR ion-source is being used. At present we have concentrated on two aspects: i) collective excitations such as giant dipole resonance; ii) Young type interference in ionization of H2 molecule; and iii) Experiments with Atomic Hydrogen.
