School on Advanced Biological Inorganic Chemistry

Selected Participants
A training School on Advanced Biological Inorganic Chemistry will be held for young researchers and students in this area, just before the Symposium. November 2-4, 2009 at TIFR, Mumbai.
Applicants should send their complete biodata along with a covering letter forwarded by his/her supervisor or departmental head justifying the participation in the training school. Selection of applications for participation to the training school will be done by an expert committee and the selected candidates will be informed by email.
We expect to have a very active, informative and educative training school. The speakers in the training school would include:

The Fee for participation in the School is Rs. 2000, which will also include food and lodging
for November 2-4, 2009. The participants will have to pay the fee before joining.

All participants will be provided FREE SHARED ACCOMMODATION and you are requested to REPORT at the ENROLLMENT COUNTER at TIFR, MUMBAI by Evening of November 1, 2009 (Sunday).
It has also been decided that all participants in the Training School will be registered for the Symposium on Advanced Biological Inorganic Chemistry (SABIC-2009) to be held during Nov 4-7, 2009, just after the School. You will not have to pay any separate registration fee for the Symposium. Those of you who have already paid registration fee for the Symposium, will be reimbursed. Those participants who have sent abstracts for poster presentation in the School will be informed separately with the abstract number etc. Other participants will register as PARTICIPANTS and are welcome to attend the Lectures, posters and participate in the Banquet and other programs of the Symposium. We will provide FREE SHARED Accommodation to you for the entire period November 1-7, 2009.
Because of budgetary limitations, we will however NOT be able to provide any accommodation to ACCOMPANIED Persons. If you are coming with any accompanied person, then please ensure that proper hotel booking is made for the accompanied person. If informed in advance, we will TRY to provide accommodation to Accompanied person who has to pay Rs. 1500 per night per person.

If you are traveling by Train then please arrive at MUMBAI -CST or MUMBAI -CENTRAL / Churchgate station and take a TAXI to NAVY NAGAR where the Institute is Located.
