Vacation Rules

Clarification of the CCC Vacation rules :

If a child is going to be absent from the CCC for a period of 30 days or more, with prior intimation to the supervisor,CCC, reduced fee during the period of absence is applicable as follows:
For each half-calender-month (1-15 or 16-end of month) that the child is completely absent, only the 2-hour fee for the appropriate age group needs to be paid (no food charges included).
Practically, this will be implemented as follows:
(a) If the child is going to be absent for the complete calender month, please pay only the applicable 2-hour fee.
(b) If the child is going to be absent completely for either half of the month (but not the full month), please pay the complete fee (including food charges) for the month. The fee will be adjusted in the first month when the child is re-enrolled completely.
Note that (b) is applicable only when the child is absent for a continuous period of 30 days or more. In both the cases, the CCC should be informed in writing 7 days in advance, specifying the duration of absence.
Examples:
• April 15 – June 5 vacation: parents inform the vacation dates before April 8, pay the full fees for April and 2-hour fees for May. The extra amount paid in April will be adjusted in the June bill.
• April 20 – May 20 vacation: parents inform the vacation dates before April 13. No refund is possible for April since the vacation period does not include the complete half-month. The complete fee for May is paid, the refund applicable for May 1-15 will be adjusted in the June bill.
