Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is located near the southern most tip of Mumbai. Known formerly as Bombay, the city is the financial and commercial nerve centre of India. It is conveniently connected by air to other cities of the world.
The picturesque campus has well equiped conference and lecture halls and the large modern Homi Bhabha Auditorium, which will be used for the plenary sessions of the Workshop.

All interested are invited to register as soon as possible, and no later than October 15, 2000.
Registration fee for a participant is US$ 90. Besides the basic registration fee, this includes lunches, coffee/tea, a banquet on Wednesday evening, December 13 and the guarantee for the hotel reservation.
Local hospitality (in the form of registration fee and accommodation) can be provided to a limited number of young physicists. Please email cmsweek@tifr.res.in for more information.
Any fees for accompanying persons can be paid upon arrival.
Your registration will be confirmed to you by email after the registration fee has been received.

Registration money can be paid in one of three ways - Money transfer, Bankers' cheque or Personal cheque. Details are given below. Whichever way you send the money, please intimate us by email also.

| Accommodation |
We have negotiated with Hotel Oberoi and the YWCA (see information below) in South Mumbai, within 5km from TIFR. Rooms will be allocated on first come first served basis but additional accommodation can be arranged by the organizers in other hotels if necessary. All rooms have the double occupancy, and the room rate for single and double room is the same.

Booking procedure for YWCA
The Organizers will take care of your booking. Please choose the YWCA as your prefered accommodation in the registration form.
Cancellation
Cancellation of registration has to be sent in written form (email/fax) by November 7, 2000. The reimbursement delay for the registration fee is about one month.
| Visa |
Valid visa is required to enter India for all nationalities. Visa can be obtained from the nearest Indian Consulate/Embassy to you. Upon registration, a letter of invitation will be sent to you. But the easiest way is to request for a tourist visa. Please let us know by email if you face any difficulty in this process.
