LEAVE RULES FOR RESEARCH SCHOLAR

The Research Scholars are allowed a maximum of 70 days leave during vacation period (01 October to 31 October, 16 December to 14 January and 01 March to 30 June) If the leave is not availed in Vacation Period the leave can be converted to Earned Leave in the ratio of 70=30 days. The EL can be availed only during non-vacation period depending on their tenure of Scholarship and cannot be carry forwarded. They are also entitled for Causal Leave of 8 days in a year. The academic year is from July to June for leave. Research Scholars are not entitle for Medical/Sick Leave.

Rules for taking leave

Ist year Research Scholars: Inform respective Subject Board Office by email & fill up the leave form before leaving town.

2nd year and above Research Scholars: Inform Department Chairperson & guide personally or by email and fill up the leave form.

Penalty: Failure to fill up leave form before leaving town or going on leave without informing will result in nonpayment of honorarium.
