Teachers' Book Grant

The Teacher is entitled for a
Book-Grant as follows:
1) Rs. 30,000/- per course
(class room lectures of 25 or more lectures).
2) Rs. 15,000/- per course
(15-20 class room lectures)
3) Rs. 5,000/- grant for
graders (for Core courses in Physics).
They can claim this
amount for following:
i) Purchase of books, journals,
software and computer peripherals.
ii) Payment of
fellowships/memberships of professional organisations/societies.
iii) Travel to
conferences/meetings both within and outside
If the books are related to
the course which is to be taught then this grant can be availed before the
course.
The book grant may be
accumulated to a maximum of two consecutive years of teaching.
If more than one Teacher is
teaching a course this Book-Grant amount may be divided among themselves.
Purchased items along with
cash memos and dully filled in claim form, to be submitted to University Office
(Room No. A-420) for completing administrative formalities.
The money will be reimbursed
at the Institute's Cash Counter/Accounts Section -Cash Counter Time: 11.00 a.m.
12.30 p.m. and 01.00 p.m. to 03.00 p.m.
