Membership

The Society shall consist of Ordinary, Life and Honorary Members.  The Society may invite an eminent foreign scientist and can elect him to honorary membership of the Society in recognition of his services to the Society or his eminence as a scientist in biophysical and allied fields.

Eligibility for Membership

·        Persons having M.Sc., or equivalent degree in science and actively engaged in research or teaching of biophysical science.

• Persons genuinely interested in advancing the cause of biophysical science.

• Members of the sister Societies.

Candidates for membership shall be proposed by one and seconded by another member of the Society in a prescribed form and shall be elected at a meeting of the Council by a vote of the majority of the members present at the meeting.
