For Foreign Participants

Travel Fellowship

Travel Fellowship is available for Young Scientists from developing countries

The Organizing Committee of the Workshop on NMR and its applications in Biological Systems has made funds available with the financial support from various funding agencies, such as the International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB), to assist scientists with the partial cost of attending the Workshop.

Maximum travel support shall be of the order of US $ 500.

Eligibility

Fellowship Awards are intended for graduate students or post-doctoral students coming from developing countries. Only partial funding can be provided.

Please include following attachments with the application:

1. Completed application form.
2. Letter from the applicant explaining his/her particular interests in the Workshop and need for financial assistance.
3. Letter of support by the Applicant's Supervisor or Head of the Department (in case of graduate students). A copy of this letter must be sent by FAX to 0091-22-2280 4610 (Marked: Attention: Prof. K.V.R.Chary).

Each of the above 4 items must be on one A4-size page.

Submission Deadline

Completed application forms and the above supporting documents must reach Prof. K.V.R.Chary, before August 31, 2009.

Selection Procedure

The Organizing Committee will carry out the selection procedure. Applicants will be informed before September 5, 2009 whether or not their applications for a Fellowship Award have been successful.

The decision of the Committee will be final.
