Now lamps compiles in gtk2. No need to install gtk1. This version works on all reasonably recent versions of Linux. You can use Fedora Core 9 (or older). The old lamps version running on gtk1 is still available for download and you can use it for compatibility with old setup files. However new features will be added only in the new gtk2 version.

Note the new directory structure. To compile go the "src" directory and to run the program, come back to the top level directory. Always store your list files (zls format or Candle/Freedom files) in the "zls" directory
