Logistics
Participants can
request registration by web submission or e-mailing us
the information mentioned in the
request webpage. In course of time, we shall also put up similar
pages by which the participants can
intimate us of their
arrival and departure times, send us any special requests, etc.

Registration
The Workshop is meant for active researchers
in the areas mentioned and is by invitation.
The number of registered participants
will be limited to about 50. If you wish to participate in the meeting, please
let us know by
the request webpage by October 22, 2003.
Doctoral students should ask their advisers
to write a supporting letter to the organisers (only a few
students well into their thesis research can be invited).
We shall write to the participants subsequently.
Tea and lunch during the workshop is expected to be provided for
registered participants.
Registration does
not automatically guarantee accommodation.
We will try to find accommodation for registered participants from
outside Mumbai.
We hope to be able to support the cost of stay and part of the food
while you are attending the meeting. Once your accommodation is
confirmed, your place of stay will be communicated
to you.
As organisers we may face a difficult task to find accommodation
for all participants
that we would like to invite, due to our budgetary constraints.
Our on-campus housing facility for guests is
severly short of
the number required. We thus will have to put up some of the
participants in city hotel(s).
We shall provide transportation between the
Hotel and the Workshop venue, TIFR.
We have so far no funds for travel support from meeting sources.
At the moment, everyone should assume that there will be
no travel support.
Arrival-Departure
Please let us know the details of your arrival and departure. Also
let us know whether you are coming alone or accompanied by somebody.
Please note that the workshop will not bear the expenses of the
accompanying person. Please fill
the
arrival-departure form by December 25, 2003 so that
arrangements can be made to receive the participants.
Visa
Please note that participants who are not Indian citizens will need
a visa to come to India.
