First Bulletin

The SUSY 2017 will be held at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research(TIFR), Mumbai. This is the first bulletin with preliminary information to get yourself ready to attend the conference. In the left column of the conference web site there are links providing useful information. We will keep updating and adding more information, please keep visiting conference web site.

Pre-School: Opening on December 4, 2017 at 9:00 hrs and ends on December 8, 2017 at 18:00 hrs 2017,

Conference:
Opening on December 11, 2017 at 9:00 hrs and ends on December 15, 2017 at 16:00 hrs.

Registration:
Please register as early as possible and plan your trip accordingly. Before registration, please read the corresponding instructions. Once you book your accommodation and pay registration fees, please remember to provide all details in the registration form.

Abstract Submission:
If you are interested to submit abstract to present your work in one of the parallel sessions, please follow the link “Call for Abstract” in the menu. The respective parallel session's conveners will select the abstracts for the presentation in that parallel session.

Important Dates:

Early registration: August, 4 – October 20, 2017
Abstract submission deadline : October 20, 2017
Late Registration deadline: November 3 ,2017

Registration Fees:
Regular participant: 24000 INR/ 400 USD /350 EUR / 300 GBP/45000 JPY
Students(proof required): 19200 INR/ 300 USD/ 255 EUR / 230 GBP / 33000 JPY
Students should send one letter of recommendation.

Late Registration Fees:
Regular participant: 30000 INR/ 500 USD/440 EUR / 375 GBP / 56000 JPY
Students : 24000 INR/ 375 USD/ 320 EUR / 290 GBP / 41000 JPY

For Pre-School(Deadline October 20, 2017) : 5500 INR/ 80 USD/70 EUR/ 55 GBP/ 8000 JPY/

Registration fee includes:

  1. Tea/Coffee and Snacks,
  2. 5 lunches
  3. Welcome dinner
  4. Conference dinner,
  5. Registration kits,
  6. Transportation from Hotel to conference venue and droping at the hotel
  7. Cultural programme

Fee for accompanying person(optional): For each accompanying person(including children of age 12+ years) fee is 70 USD/60 EUR/55 GPB/ 8000 JPY. It includes welcome dinner, conference dinner, registration kits, cultural programme.

Airport pick up: In order to make your arrival hassle free we can arrange for your paid airport pick up to your respective hotels. Please add extra 30 USD with your registration fees and mention it in the registration form along with the arrival information.

VISA: All foreign participants require to obtain their VISA before boarding the flight to Mumbai. It may take up to 4 weeks to process a VISA application. Please indicate in the registration form if you require an invitation letter. You may alternately email us your request.

TIFR is a government aided institution, so we need the passport details for all international participants and accompanying person to provide to DAE (our nodal ministry) for clearances that will aid in the visa processing. Therefore, pleaseprovide your passport details at the registration page.

For Participants from Afghanisthan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistani origin & Stateless persons: Online registration has been introduced by several Indian diplomatic missions. Participants from these(PRC) countries are required to register "online" for visa at the Indian diplomatic mission. They will be assigned a unique ID (visa file number). Please get the 'Unique ID' code and send it to us. We will do needful

Accommodation: We have arranged for discounted tariff in a few nearby hotels, details are in the "Accommodation" link in the menu. Please follow the instruction and choose your hotel and book. However, payments should be made by the participants directly to the hotels.

We are trying to arrange hostels and guest houses for Indian participants, in particular for students and postdocs. Once these are finalized, we will upload those information in our website. There are some budget hotels and guest house which are listed at the bottom of the accommodation page. Please contact organizers to get this accommodation. It will be provided on the first come first served basis.

Child Care Center(CCC): A day care center for children is available in the residential area adjacent to the TIFR campus. Details of the CCC can be obtained from the CCC website(www.tifr.res.in/~ccc) . Further queries may be sent to the conference email address.
