Electronic structure constitutes the microscopic origin of all material properties. Therefore, designing new materials of technological importance as well as resolving long standing fundamental issues requires detailed knowledge of material properties. Electron spectroscopy is a powerful and versatile tool to probe the electronic structure directly. Recently, the field has developed significantly both in theory and experiment. This workshop will focus on recent activities in the field and future scope.
  • Angle and spin resolved photoemission
  • Two photon photoemission
  • Scanning Tunnelling spectroscopy
  • Electronic structure calculations
  • Density functional theory
  • Dynamical mean field theory
Participation by invitation only

Publication: If the number of interested authors are adequate to bring out a proceedings, we will bring out a special issue on "Advances in Electron Spectroscopy". in an international Journal. The plan is get a collection of regular articles, including possibly one or two review articles. Page lengths are Contributed paper (6-8 pages), featured article (11-12 pages) or review article (15-25 pages).

Concent deadline: 31st October, 2015,
